Hide in You
With seeking eyes and hungry lips, you measure me~
inch by inch, salty kiss~
the veins, the trees, the foamy sea;
through the walls we create, to protect and destroy,
separating skin from skin.
Pull me through to seek with you~
to glide, as you lead; to rise with your touch.
Looking through you in this concrete room,
Locked inside, standing still, raging fire, hurricane, burning
insane,
I touch your pain through the blur, and I watch you move, I
see you through.
Each toss, each turn, somewhere in the cold grays, I balance
on the walls.
Searching, sneaking, I hunger for you; you tumble to me.
I caress the grooves, to feel you move.
Stalking like a predator, pacing like an animal, I try to
find my balance, and the life is vanishing.
Sleek, your pet, I hunt to find you etched within my veins;
the lifelines, flowing like a river.
Floating inside, your eyes search me through.
Captive, you bend, to touch.
I pull the secrets from your ear,
the man that is lost inside (we all hide).
Caressing flesh, possessive embrace, pulling away my
disease-thick and black, clotted pool,
watching the demon rise, and seek his home, you tower above,
stirring the sky, clouds molding at
your fingertips, dancing for me.
The demons multiply-chattering teeth, gnawing the flesh,
chewing their victims, spreading disease;
Our fingertips touch.
Take my hand. Let’s get out of
here. I curl up inside your flesh. Keep me
safe inside your home.
Smile.
You ,
me,
fire,
sun,
combustion*
